With the money raised from the 2006 ride we were able to donate: $ 500 to Friends of Dare $ 500 to The Swansea Police Patrolman’s Assoc. 2 - $ 1,000 Scholarships to: Kelly A. Cabral & Jeremy Plante With the money raised from the 2007 Ride we donated: $ 500 to Bob’s Soccer Field $ 380 to SPD Honor Guard, which Bob was a member of, to purchase new Flag poles. And We will be able to give away 2 more $ 1,000 scholarships: Daniel Bjorge, & Anne Becker. We also were able to establish a $500 Ride Volunteer Scholarship which was awarded to Mitch Cabral

Financial ReportThe 3rd Annual Lt. Bob Cabral Memorial Motorcycle Ride was held on June 14, 2008. We started at the Case High School and after a 42 mile ride through Swansea,Rehoboth,Dighton, and Somerset we finished back at Case High School. The ride started about 11:30 a.m. with Father Joe blessing the bikes and riders. The weather was very cooperative this year, sunny and warm, perfect riding weather. We didn’t have a great turnout as we had in the past due to some unforeseen circumstances. 5 Police Motorcycles 19 Motorcycles
